Trump Shot At Rally

Trump Shot at Rally

Former President Injured in Shooting

Suspect at Large, Motive Unknown

Former President Donald Trump was shot in the right ear during a campaign rally on Saturday, sparking panic and streaking the Republican presidential candidate from the stage.

Two videos posted on social media that were verified by The New York Times appeared to show a person firing a gun from a building rooftop just outside the venue where Trump was speaking. Law enforcement sources at the scene told CNN that a shooter was positioned on the building.

The shots rang out at 6:10 p.m., and Trump clutched his right ear as blood spurted out. He then ducked for cover as Secret Service agents rushed to his aid.

The shooting sent attendees fleeing for cover, and the rally was canceled. Trump was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

The suspect is still at large, and the motive for the shooting is unknown. The FBI is assisting local authorities in the investigation.
