Beach Volleyball at the Paris 2024 Olympics
Competition Format
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will feature beach volleyball tournaments for both men and women, with a maximum of two teams per country per gender. Each tournament will comprise 24 teams, making a total of 48 teams competing in beach volleyball at the Games.
Qualification Pathways
National Olympic Committees (NOCs) will have three qualification pathways to obtain an Olympic ticket for Paris. The top 10 teams in the FIVB Olympic Ranking will qualify directly, while the next 12 teams will qualify through Continental Qualification Tournaments. The remaining two teams will be determined through a special FIVB Qualifier.
Competition Schedule
The men's qualification for the Olympic beach volleyball tournament will occur between January 2023 and June 2024. The women's qualification will take place between March 2023 and June 2024. The competition at the Games will be held at the iconic Champs de Mars, where the temporary Eiffel Tower Stadium will be constructed.
